Da’Vet Nicole Scott is a passionate clinician with a gift for serving others. For more than 10 years, she has provided clinical services to individuals, couples, and families with special attention given to the treatment of women and sex issues, depression, anxiety, and maternal mental health from a faith-based perspective. Her peers and clients know her as thorough, extremely relatable, and competent alongside her warm personality that displays her empathetic views in response to her clients’ experiences. Davet believes everyone can benefit from therapy, so she works tirelessly advocating for mental healthcare, its ease of access and the efficacy of therapy.
A native of Los Angeles, Da’Vet earned a B.A. in Literature from LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tennessee, a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University of Dominguez Hills in Carson, California and is licensed to practice in California and Texas.

Featured podcast guest, conference lecturer and sought-after guest speaker, Da’Vet has found great joy in being an active part of her community and an impactful panelist who explores aspects of womanhood and sexuality. Her work continues to impact her community as she is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
An advocate for the family unit, lover of live music, and laughter, she enjoys traveling with her admirable husband, Rev. Dr. Shane B. Scott and spending invaluable time with their children: Savannah Grace, Lily Simone, Shane Bernard, II and their labradoodle Missy.
Currently enriching her practice by engaging in training on the Gottman Method, Da’Vet is seeking her sex therapist certification through The American Association of Couples and Sex Therapists (AACAST).
